This new facility marks a significant milestone in Yamaha’s commitment to strengthening technical training and elevating aftersales service standards throughout the region.

Their presence underscores Yamaha’s long-term dedication to developing highly skilled human resources capable of supporting the growing demands of the marine industry.
In his speech, Gatot Admodirdjo highlighted that the establishment of this training center is a key initiative in Yamaha’s ongoing efforts to provide world-class aftersales service.
“Through this facility, we want to ensure that every Yamaha technician in Southeast Asia possesses the knowledge, skills, and the spirit of ‘Yamaha Kando’ — delivering satisfaction that goes beyond customer expectations,” he stated.
World-Class Training Facilities for Yamaha Marine Technicians
First developed in 2019, the Regional Training Center has hosted various Yamaha Marine training programs, including:
- Yamaha Technical Academy (YTA)
- Operator Training
- Boat Builder Training
- Technical School Instructor Training
The center is equipped with a dedicated auditorium, modern classrooms, and hands-on workshop areas featuring Yamaha Marine tools and outboard motors — ensuring every training program adheres to global Yamaha standards.
Additional support from YMC Japan will also be available for advanced or specialized training initiatives.
Serving Indonesia and the Wider Southeast Asian Region

This expansion is expected to strengthen regional collaboration, unify training systems, and maintain consistent service quality across all Yamaha Marine markets.
