NEW RIDING EXPERIENCE with PERSONAL WATER VEHICLE – YAMAHA WAVERUNNER

In 2015, Yamaha Wave Runner renewed all aspect from design, technologies and features. All these additions take place in order to provide easy driving control by providing a new intuitive constrol system to personal water craft (PWC). All of these beneficial features provided by RiDE (Reverse with Intuitive Deceleration Electronics) by Yamaha.

With this new technology, user or rider, can easily accelerate or decelerate, moving backwards or change position to neutral by using dual handlebar throttle control, which is first time implemented on a PWC.

For the hull and deck, Yamaha has developed NanoXcel2 technology, the latest generation of body material, which has the previous unique feature of previous NanoXcel technoloy, but with lighter weight. This material used on FZ series, to provide sport style driving experience. This technology implemented as well on FX SVHO Series.

Since 2005, VX series are well accepted worldwide as Personal Water Craft (PWC). 10 years since its first appearance, this VX model, once again, apply new standard for Personal Water Craft.

All VX series designed with new hull, completed with RiDE technology, in order to maximize customer experience in terms of comfort, ease of use and fun, including increasing riding safety.

VXR and VXS in performance class, also has RiDE features, with new hull design to accomodate 1.8 liter High Output Naturally Aspirated engine. Both of these series will provide the maximum riding performance.

THE WORLD’S FIRST DUAL THROTTLE HANDLEBAR CONTROL SYSTEM

RiDE™ offers the world’s first dual throttle handlebar controls on a personal watercraft. Pull the right handle lever and you accelerate, pull the left lever and you go in reverse. Pull the left lever at speed to decelerate. Pull them both, or in any combination, and the system recognizes your intentions and provides precise control at all speeds all the time. Release both levers and you shift to neutral. There’s no manual shifting, no gears, no complicated process..

Using Yamaha Motor’s exclusive FRP materials technology, we have developed a new material that further improves on our NanoXcel technology.

The NanoXcel2 achieves substantial weight reduction while retaining the strength and rigidity found in NanoXcel. In contrast to NanoXcel, the hull and deck is now 18% lighter.
