Gelar Kegiatan Pelatihan Perawatan Mesin, KBA-Yamaha Marine Serius Dukung Industri Maritim Indonesia

Denpasar – PT Karya Bahari Abadi, also known as KBA Yamaha Marine, as the sole distributor of Yamaha outboard engine products in Indonesia, is actively and consistently providing support in developing the world of fisheries, by providing training on maintenance of Yamaha Outboard Engines to fishermen in the Badung Regency area , Bali province. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office of Badung Regency.

This activity was carried out in 3 locations involving 3 groups of fishermen. The first activity was carried out on June 6 2023 at Kedonganan with the Ulam fishermen group, the second activity was carried out on June 8 2023 at Tanjung Benoa with the Mekar Sari fishermen group and the third activity was carried out on June 12 2023 at Balangan. Approximately 50 Indonesian fishermen participated in this series of activities.

In his remarks, the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service for the Badung district, represented by Mr. I Nyoman Berata, SH as a young expert policy analyst, stated:
“We thank PT. KARYA BAHARI ABADI for their assistance and cooperation in carrying out the technical guidance for outboard motors for fishermen in Kab. Badung in 2023 which has been well implemented, smooth and successful. We also really hope that this collaboration can continue for the following years and can continue to be improved given the high enthusiasm and demand from fishermen groups because of the benefits for the development of fisherman human resources in care and maintenance standalone outboard engine

In his remarks, the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service for the Badung district, represented by Mr. I Nyoman Berata, SH as a young expert policy analyst, stated:
In addition, in his remarks, the head of the Balangan Samudra fishermen group, I Wayan Sukarta, said:
“We hope that in the future there will be many programs that can help us fishermen groups in Badung Regency, especially our Balangan Samudra group regarding engine maintenance, considering that our main heart when fishing is the engine itself. When we already know about engine maintenance, it is hoped that we can minimize obstacles while we are at sea. We express our deepest gratitude to the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries District. Badung as the organizer and also the team from KBA-Yamaha as the resource person who has given some of his knowledge to our group ”

In its activities, KBAYamaha Marine provides training materials on 15PK engine maintenance. This machine is a machine that is widely used by fishermen in Badung district. With this training, fishermen are expected to be able to carry out maintenance of their outboard engines independently so that they maintain optimal performance of outboard engines and can support fishing activities to be able to get optimal catches.

“As one of the stakeholders in the national maritime industry, especially in the outboard engine segment. KBA Yamaha Marine has an obligation to advance the domestic maritime industry, which we do through an outboard engine maintenance training program for fishermen throughout Indonesia. With this training, we hope that fishermen can carry out outboard engine maintenance independently, so that they can maintain the condition of the outboard engines to support their fishing activities in producing optimal catches,” explained Solulipu Djamil Kobong, General Manager Sales and Product of PT Karya Bahari Abadi.
