PT Karya Bahari Abadi – Yamaha Marine sent outboard engine technicians to support search and rescue operations after the Sriwijaya Air SJ182 crash in the Thousand Islands region on Saturday (9\/1\/2021).  These technicians provide technical support and spare parts to the Joint SAR Team’s ship or boat that uses the outboard engine for smooth operations.<\/p>\n

According to the news summarized from Basarnas, there are about 20 small-scale marine equipment that are also used, such as sea riders, personal watercraft and rubber boats that have been deployed to assist SAR operations.<\/p>\n

Through this program, Yamaha Marine  provides technical support, performs engine check and replacement of Yamaha outboard engine parts, to ensure the outboard engine used are always in prime condition. Yamaha Marine has carried out this support activity for ships from Basarnas, Polari and KPLP.<\/p>\n
